The polytunnels and fields of the flower farm are a huge part of what makes Pheasant Botanica the business it is. I love conditioning and arranging flowers of all kinds into wild and sculptural arrangements, but it’s all the better when I’ve taken them from seedling to shoot to splash of colour with my own hands.
I aim to grow as much of the foliage and flowers I use in my arrangements as possible, and each wedding I work on is guaranteed to be a reflection of the season in which it takes place. There’s beauty to be found all year round, and with some perseverance and lots of nurturing, we’ve turned our damp little corner of Wales into a fanfare of British flowers.
