Styled Shoot | Boho Luxe and Vintage Glam

This shoot was the first time I collaborated with Krysta at For The Love of Weddings. Krysta has now become one of my closest friends in the industry, and we’ve worked together on several shoots and weddings – our imaginations seem to gel very well together, and I’m always excited to hear what she has up her sleeves. This shoot was to encapsulate two contrasting looks: bohemian luxury, which involved lots of punchy splashes of colour and some quirky design, and vintage glamour, which was altogether more elegant and muted.

I wanted the bohemian look to feel fun and free spirited, and to have the chance to colour outside the lines a little bit. I used a palette of hot pink and forest green, and created a huge, trailing bouquet, and a statement flower crown, which included a flamboyant crest of pheasant feathers.

I kept things more pastel in tone for the vintage glamour section of the shoot, and used spring favourites ranunculus, narcissus and lilac in ice-cream shades to create something fresh, clean and gorgeous that paired beautifully with the intricate beading on the dress.
